Vixens NC

Vixens Netball Club was formed in 2009 by Laura Price and Nichola Carter. From here, friends and family were gathered to form a strong squad of 11 players. The team entered into the Chelmsford & District Netball League late and had to play for a season in division 13. Winning the winter and summer league, as well as the cup in the season 2009/2010, Vixens were asked to be assessed by the league in the hope that they would be positioned in a higher division. After a successful assessment night, the team were placed into division 4 for the 2010/2011 season. The team voted Rachel Lindsay as the most improved player for the 2009/2010 season and after a successful first year as captain, Grace Pead was re-elected for the 2010/2011 season. Hayley Carter was voted as Vice Captain, as well as being the clubs Treasurer. The team has many girls eager to gain qualifications within netball. Coaching: Laura Price is looking to complete her Netball Coaching Level 1 in 2011. Umpring: Leah Trussler and Rebecca Dorey currently have their Netball Beginner Umpiring Awards. Rachel Burnett, Rebecca Dorey, Nichola Carter and Rachel Lindsay are hoping to soon achieve their Netball C umpiring awards.
